About Stacey
Graduated from MacEwan University's Special Needs Educational Assistant program with Honors with Distinction. I currently work in a school setting supporting students in their reading journeys. I teach children a variety of reading strategies and do phonics work with them. I am also experienced with math up to and including grade 8.

My first goal is to get to know the student(s) and meet them where they're currently at. From there I can work with them to build up reading skills and strategies. My approach is gentle and encouraging with lots of positive feedback. I primarily work with students in grades 2 to 4 but reading below grade level, but I can adapt to work with students outside of that range.
