About Libby
I studied biochemistry at the University of Warwick, graduating with a First Class Honours. I then went on to complete a PhD in the field of ageing and structural biology at the University of Manchester. For the past 10 years, I've worked as a consultant in Advanced Therapeutics, focused on sales in biotechnology and research services. I was the company expert on technical sales and lead training courses for my company and colleagues on sales and selling skills from cold calling, to progressing the deal or closing. I worked in a very fast-paced environment, but working with people, teaching and mentoring has always been my greatest passion, so I made the decision to work on my terms and embark on a tutoring journey. My lessons are driven by my students. Each series starts with an informal discussion where we explore your needs, passions, weak spots and together devise a customised plan to develop your skills and knowledge. I've taught many different kinds of people throughout my professional life and find that everyone is different. Lessons can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour 30. They can be discussion led, or we can plan our learning journey in the first session and I'll prepare a lecture format - everything is flexible and tailored to my students' request. I can teach any age and any level of experience in sales, to experienced sellers looking to improve their closing rate, to people transitioning from technical roles to sales with zero selling experience. I can also support career development skills, with vast experience of hiring (I've conducted over 30 interviews in the last few years), I can support interview prep, CV reviews, career development, sales and consulting training and business development.

Details
The first session will be an informal discussion to learn more about your needs, current level of understanding and learning goals. We will devise a learning plan together in a method which suits your learning style (can be discussion, lecture-style, Q&A, project-driven, self-learning driven etc). This session is free. From then on, rates are £65/hour.
