About Asad

I am a dedicated GCSE Biology tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and genuinely understand the subject. I believe Biology becomes much easier when concepts are explained clearly and visually, rather than memorised. My approach is patient and supportive, allowing students to ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. I aim to create a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and better prepared for exams.

About the lesson

I teach GCSE Biology using GoodNotes, allowing me to explain topics clearly through live diagrams, structured notes, and step-by-step written explanations. This visual approach helps students understand complex processes and key concepts more effectively. Lessons are tailored to the student’s level and focus on building strong subject understanding alongside exam skills. To support independent learning, I provide exam-style questions and active recall tasks for students to complete in their own time. Typical lessons last one hour, but lesson length can be adapted depending on individual needs.

Asad teaches biology and chemistry to my daughter for AQA GCSE. His explanations are clear and easy to understand. He makes her practice questions from past papers and has also provided her with flash cards and mind maps. My daughter thoroughly enjoys his lessons and has made significant improvement in her grades. Overall we are very pleased with him as a tutor.
