About Asia
I have a PhD in mathematics from Queen's with a focus on holistic education, and 25 years of teaching experience in universities, colleges, high schools, and within the community. Drawing on education psychology and advances in neuroscience, I tailor my sessions to focus on learning and emotional well-being. I care about my students as complete humans.

As a university professor I have designed and taught all levels of mathematics, including Calculus and Linear Algebra, to applied Mathematical Modelling, to Complex Analysis and Abstract Algebra.
I have also designed and coordinated mathematics outreach programs for the community for over 20 years to help students understand their abilities as creative problem solvers.
I have worked extensively with teens and adults, building a relationship of trust and enjoyment. My superpower is listening to students and meeting them where they are, supporting them to feel empowered, curious, and confident.
