About Rebecca
I began my academic geography career by choosing it for my GSCE options and fell in love with the subject. This led me to taking the subject as one of my A-level options. My teachers inspired and encouraged me to further my geography journey at university! I then went on to study a Ba Geography degree at the university of Salford where I took special interest in climate change and energy. My wonderful lecturers then encouraged me to continue to Masters level where I chose to specialise in Sustainability. I will finish this degree in September and hopefully move onto a graduate position as a Sustainability Consultant.

From previously tutoring geography GSCE students I understand that each child is unique in the way they learn best. I like to change my teaching methods to suit each child. Another way I like to teach is by encouraging them to think outside of the subject area, and how it applying to the world and themselves. This allows them to develop their critical thinking skills and hopefully develop their interest in the subject. After all, a child is far more likely to succeed if they like what they are learning.
