About Maya
I am a junior at Duke University. I study Languages and Biology with a concentration in Marine Science. I find writing and reading to be one of my greatest strengths and joys.
I received a perfect score on the English portion of my SATs as well as score of 7 in IB English Literature, Philosophy, and Visual Arts. I received an A on my Extended Essay.
I also have published poetry and love to journal through poetry and creative writing.
Currently, I am studying in Spain and would love to help any individuals working on their English language skills and literacy.
I am also a Rachel Carson Scholar due to prior and current scientific research I have conducted.
