About Elizabeth
In trying not to sound cliché, I have been through many academic obstacles, and understand how difficult it is to 'get' subjects. It is very possible to like your most hated subject, it always depends on how it's taught and understood! I love trying to explain content differently and uniquely as I've stated before. RS is different to many of the other subjects within A-level and GCSE, I've had to adapt to it in certain ways during the course of my revision. Therefore, I hope to be able to share my ways with students who don't realise the full potential they can show within their answers! If you're interested in seeing my qualifications, I can send them over as well. :)
-I can give feedback on questions and mark them for both GCSE/A-level.
-If a student wants to learn a certain theory for an hour we can! This applies to other things as well: learning about structure, intros, conclusions, for your questions.

In being neurodivergent, I have different techniques of learning and teaching:
-I believe in actually understanding the content of a theory/belief. It's mainly taught that you don't HAVE to understand something, just memorise it.
This never worked for me in the long run, so I approach this by learning through pictures, circle diagrams, and much more. It's so important to just understand the content, that I got the A*.
-We can learn any preferred piece of content, before we start course of lessons, I plan on reading material to do with your exam board and understand how your exam board marks papers. With this, we can go over any of your preferred area of content which you struggle with. In the past, my classmates usually have struggled with specific theories, ideas, and ethical systems.
-If you do Edexcel, that would be great as well! I have studied Catholic Christianity, Judaism, and Atheism content, so it is preferred that the student is learning this frame of work.
-The lessons are aimed for GCSE/A-level students (14-18), as this is when I believe content gets harder, and most exam boards aren't great at giving ways to understand the complex content.
-A lesson can be an hour or a bit more! RS is a heavy subject so any time frame is okay, it is whatever the student will prefer.
-I am starting my tutoring journey on here! I used to help others in my class and passionately enjoy the subject. If calling online, We'll use the available whiteboard! Whilst pursuing my Art history degree in York, I plan on doing a degree online in Theology. I aspire to study a MA and a PhD in Oxbridge.
