About Ellie
My name is Ellie and I'm currently a university studying architecture. I'm 20 years old and feel passionate about helping students find their ideal way to learn. I was recently diagnosed with specific learning difficulties which went undiagnosed throughout the entirety of my A levels and GCSEs. This meant I really struggled with finding my own learning style which made school a lot harder for me and much less enjoyable. Having experienced this has made me feel strongly about helping others adapt their own style of learning while keeping it as fun and as engaging as possible.

I make PowerPoint for each session tailored to the needs of the student. My first lesson will always include an introduction to help build a reassuring and trusting relationship and a short assessment covering the desired subject matter. This will then tell me what the student struggles with and what we should focus on moving forward. I will also ask the student what they would like to have a look at. While I have my own teaching style, I will adapt to how they seem to learn best as time progresses.
