It's well known that when speaking of ITs, solutions to the same problem are very varied, so I try to find an approach in which the student feels comfortable. I try to encourage curiosity, mostly practical classes except if the student requests a more theoretical approach. The topics that can be covered could start as low a beginner with curiosity fot ITs to more advanced things as support, networking, security, etc.
