About P
Hi! I'm an experienced teacher in various elementary schools across New York. I've also been virtually tutoring children grades K-6 in all school subjects such as Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies. My main mission when I tutor or teach is to instill a love of learning within the child. I also help students do well on school tests, assignments and specialized tests such as the G&T exam and the State tests.

If I have learned anything from teaching, it's that a child cannot simply memorize a formula and be content. They need the why and the how in order for it to truly make sense to them. When I tutor, I try to give explanations and proofs for what I am teaching. It helps them retain the information they've learned in class and apply to the real world instead of just a textbook.
