About Brittney
Since I was a little girl I wanted to help people learn English. I grew up in a small, French town in Quebec. However, did all my schooling in English. Throughout my time in college I mingled with French students and found it fun helping them find words and translating for them. That was when I decided I wanted to take English and Education in university.
My time in university has been rewarding. I am an A student and really enjoy my classes. I also have the opportunity to substitute at a variety of schools.
I know what it is like having to improve and learn a new language. I am always learning how to analyze and improve my English in university. Additionally, I know what it is like to learn a second language. I did not grow up speaking French even though I grew up in a French province. It was through working and making friends where I picked up the language and practiced it.
Given my experiences and background, I am confident I can help you improve your English in any way, shape, and/or form.

I believe everyone is capable of improving their English. Whether it's to improve sentence structure, vocabulary, reading, or understanding it there is always room for improvement.
A typical lesson plan would depend what the student is trying to work on. For vocabulary is would be reviewing different words, defining it, and using it in a sentence. For reading it would be figuring out which level you are at then locating where the difficulties are in order to asses you. Whereas second language students we would first evaluate whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced. As well as figuring out what you want to improve and your motives. Each lesson plan is adaptable depending the interests of the students and what they want to learn.
These lessons are for anyone who needs extra help, wants to improve their English, learning it as a second language, or wants to just expand their education!
