I am a veteran English Language Arts teacher who loves to inspire students to embrace the subtleties and nuances of the written and spoken word. I have been awarded numerous honors because of my ability to successfully engage and teach students who others could not. English can be difficult to master, that's why I break my lessons down into small chunks. I strive to make my students feel successful which makes them want to come back to learn more. Once I identify my students' strengths, I use them to help buildup their areas of need. Each student is like a puzzle that needs to be solved, and I'm very good at solving puzzles.
I am experienced in teaching all areas of high school English, and I love making a difference in the lives of my students.
