About Giovanni
After moving to Rome in 2012 I qualified at Cine-TV as a Film and Television Industry Technician but much of my experience gained over the years derives from working situations on sets and from working in Rental videos in the capital.
Over the years I have learned most of the equipment used in both large and small productions, testing it, using it and teaching it by carrying out training to customers and collaborators as well as continuing to update myself every month given the technological evolution practically every six months.

My approach is mainly technical but there is no lack of important theoretical notions that must be learned to understand the technicalities of cinema and the fundamental aspects of the parameters of the video department.
This course is different from the others because you can choose according to your needs single and / or multiple arguments depending on your level of knowledge.
It is also divided into two branches:
- Technical and practical knowledge of instruments / equipment
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of Photography, Shooting and Lighting
In the branch of theoretical knowledge and practice the course will teach:
- Introduction and explanation of fundamental notions of photography (aperture, ISO, Shutter, Focus, Depth of Field etc)
- Learn to use a Mirrorless / Video Camera exclusively for filming video
- Fundamental practical notions of stage lighting
- Fundamental practical notions of the audio department
- How to carry out an interview as it should be
- Introduction and practical teaching of stabilization systems from manual to through applications and resolution of problems that may arise (Gimbal, DJI Ronin etc)
- Introduction to advanced notions
Radio systems for both focusing and video signal transmission;
Shoot in RAW / BRAW / APPLE PRORES RAW, LUT,
- Use files for conversion, export and for Color Correction with Da Vinci Resolve and Premiere Lumetri)
- Learned tips and tricks over the years
- Use of Vintage lenses on modern machines

In the branch of technique and practice of instrumentation / equipment at each lesson I will make sure to procure the material that will be necessary for teaching and to let you use it to master it.
Not only are special courses also offered for those who are already a videomaker but have specific problems (such as correctly balancing a Ronin S with a Blackmagic camera and so on)
