About Mataya
Hello! My name is Mataya, and I'm a recent graduate of Harvard University, where I concentrated in Linguistics and Romance Languages and Literature! I’m passionate about law and educational advocacy, and much of my college work has centered on the local Haitian community in Boston. I have lots of tutoring experience! Throughout college, I worked as a private tutor in Math, English, and Social Science, and I taught small academies on business, consulting, and pre-law through the Harvard Student Agencies. I also volunteered to teach at local prisons to help people achieve the GEDs. For fun, I love reading, sometimes classical literature, but often YA ‘novels’; being outdoors; video games, especially The Legend of Zelda; and tennis.
