About Matseliso
Teaching for me is not only about knowledge transfer but rather a tool that enables a learner to discover their potential and capabilities beyond the classroom. This necessitates learners to apply their skills in the real world and communicate their value. I emphasise practical, interactive learning that connects with students’ real-life experiences. Instead of sticking solely to theory, I prompt students to raise questions, exchange their viewpoints, and use the central ideas in real life. I build an engaging learning environment in which students feel at ease contributing, thinking critically, and gaining confidence. My focus stays on learner-centred to help them make sense of the subject and also to develop transferable skills for beyond the classroom.
