About Harry
I love meeting people from different cultures and have worked and travelled in many different countries including Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands. While travelling I discovered that I really enjoyed helping people with their English and so I decided to professionally train as a tutor. I have over two years' experience as an English language tutor, both online and face to face. I have also worked for a 'global education' charity and as an outdoor activity instructor in a forest school. So far in my career I have helped: school children improve their grades, university students pass exams, adults prepare for holidays and professionals meet their language goals in business.

My student-centred approach focuses on building confidence and finding joy in learning. My business English classes are suitable for professionals in any field who would like to improve their English in order to help meet their career goals. I have worked with business English students in fields such as: HR, law, recruitment, education and software development. In our first session we'll talk about any specific learning goals you might have as well as identifying some of your strengths and possible areas for improvement. Harry responds individually to both of my children's English tutoring needs (8th and 10th grades). He practises what they have learned at school with them, works on new exercises he has prepared, or provides assistance with papers/texts. At the end of the lesson he always has a fun little game or quiz prepared! He only speaks English which is great, so the children really have to speak.
The lessons are fun for my children and very entertaining. Harry comes to our house once a week at a fixed time, but he is also flexible. He also corrects homework/essays that have to be handed in the next day in homeschooling quickly by email!Harry is a great teacher with a passion for teaching. I have tried many teachers before but since I have been with Harry my english improved a lot. He is always prepared and always on time. He adapts to the students' wishes and is super flexible. I can highly recommend him :)
