About Rohan
I'm an experienced musician and music teacher, with a passion for performance in both bands and orchestral settings. On bass guitar, I have had the opportunity to perform with cover and original bands across a range of genres and settings, in addition to international performances with the Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra. On violin, I was leader of the Essendon Symphony Orchestra for over 10 years. My experience has provided me with a solid education and extensive experience across classical and contemporary genres, in addition to my tertiary level musical training.

I teach with a strong focus on setting up a solid technical foundation to promote long term proficiency, results and success on instruments. I'm also flexible to adjusting my teaching style to what a student is looking for, to ensure they get enjoyment and success out of their lessons.
Lessons typically range from 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the age and skill level of the student. I teach bass guitar, guitar, violin, viola, ukulele and keyboard to students of all ages and a range of experience levels depending on the instrument.
I have over 15 years of teaching experience, in addition to a Bachelor of Applied Music (Performance) degree, which has provided me with a solid musical education.
