Super tutor
Joshua is one of our best Academic tutoring tutors. High-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!
About Joshua
I’m Josh, a marine and conservation biologist and tutor with five years’ experience. Outside my degree, I’ve taught myself advanced maths, physics and French. To do that, I developed the Imaginative Learning System: practical methods for remembering more, understanding faster and reading more efficiently.
I now teach the system to students who work hard but feel like it isn’t sticking.

Who it’s for
- All learners who study for hours but go blank in tests
- University students with heavy reading loads
- Postgraduate students who need structure for assignments, exams or a thesis
- Adults who want to reignite a passion for learning
The Imaginative Learning System
- Picture it: visual notes and "mind objects" that make a topic’s structure obvious
- Story it: memory techniques that attach meaning to facts so they stay
- Recall it: active recall and faster reading, so revision takes less time
We apply the techniques to your real coursework, so you practise them in every lesson instead of just hearing about them.
Results
- In 2025, a learner used just two of my methods and showed a marked improvement in maths, with a big boost in confidence.
- In 2026, I guided a Master of Science student at the prestigious Royal Agricultural University in England through assignments, exams and their thesis, all the way to completion.
