About Sherry
I understand how frustrating it can be when you are struggling to learn something. Whether it be struggles in English, math, science, history, or another area in which learning is required. The sense of disappointment in oneself can be overwhelming. It is important to understand three things, when trying to learn something new:
First, and most importantly, you must not be too hard on yourself.
We all fail sometimes. As I've always told my kids, "It's not our failures that define us, it's how we handle them that determines our character."
Second, every person has their own unique way of learning. Don't be afraid to step outside of the box, and explore different approaches to your learning.
And third, if at first you do not succeed, try again. Imagine if some of greatest inventors gave up after they failed the first time.
I would encourage you to approach learning with eagerness and positivity.

I aced all English courses throughout my schooling years. I have homeschooled 4 children, whom I've taught to read, with no outside help. They are all 4 proficient readers, with excellent comprehension skills, excellent spelling and grammatical skills, and excellent punctuation.
I am very patient, and I easily adapt to the varied learning styles of the student. I was a military spouse who volunteered to counsel military spouses/dependents, during deployments. I have worked with young people, and adults, in various educational settings. I currently teach a Bible study group, once per week. I just have a natural knack for educational others.
