About Courtney
I have recently graduated with a Masters (distinction) in Contemporary Performance Practices and I'm currently tutoring students from GCSE to University level predominantly in English and essay writing. I have received numerous awards throughout my studies including the Evelyn Burgess award for Highest Achiever. My goal is to complete a PhD and become a lecturer to share my knowledge and help aspiring students achieve their desired careers. I am interested in helping those struggling with written responses to assignments, spelling and grammar, style, analysing and referencing.

I teach students from GCSE level to University level and I structure my lessons based on what the student requires from the session as I understand that every student is unique and will have their own preferred learning style. I am enthusiastic and fair in my approach, I will work with students to identify any issues or struggles that they have and actively help them understand the steps needed to achieve their full potential. I'm aware that the current situation in the world means students are struggling more than ever and some are still required to complete work at home. I would like to provide assistance to these students and help relieve any coursework/assignment stress in any way that I can.

Courtney is a great tutor. She helped me so much with writing techniques and conducting research for my final year dissertation. Her skills are in no way limited to her field (I studied planning) so she will be able to help you regardless of what you are studying. She was so calming and reassuring, especially when I felt I couldn’t move forward with my research. An absolute bank of knowledge and experience that will be a great help for anyone starting out in first year or at the final stages of a PHD. Couldn’t recommend more!!
