About Mouna
I am a mother of two boys. I am an immigrant from Syria to America. I decided to get my university degree. In the beginning, I thought like most people, in the medical field, but because my language wasn't good, I realized the difficulty of achieving it. I had previously tried teaching mathematics in Syria, and it was a wonderful experience through which I gained a lot and gave a lot. Despite the challenges and difficulties, I still work on a certificate to teach mathematics for secondary education.

The most dangerous thing I have noticed about students is the barrier that is placed between them and the subject of mathematics. Most students suffer from not accepting learning mathematics, and there are those who have created a dictionary of excuses. Each student is a special case that needs special preparation through which he can break that barrier himself. I need to communicate and understand the student and the gaps he suffers from and the way he learns. Based on that, a learning plan can be built that helps him communicate and harmonize with the subject.
