Hi there, I’m Paul and I’m from Edinburgh in Scotland.

I spent 11 years working as a classroom assistant in the music department of a college in my hometown where I met lots of great people. I really enjoyed it but I became obsessed with learning Spanish and decided the best way to do that was to move to Spain.

I spent six months travelling the country in order to improve my Spanish and , during this time I started helping various people who wanted to improve their level of English. So through those experiences I discovered a love of teaching English and decided to do an online TEFL qualification while I applied for jobs in Málaga.

I found a job in a fantastic bilingual school where I was teaching kids of all ages but after 5 or 6 months travelling back and forward every day , I decided that teaching one to one classes locally and teaching online would be the way forward for me.

As a teacher I’m very adaptable. Every human being is different and not everyone learns in the same way. Obviously though, the fundamental reason for learning a language for most people is to be able to speak that language with others, in the most natural way possible. And that’s where language lessons come in. My classes will be tailored to your needs and interests and I’ll provide optional materials for before and after the lesson. The classes can be as relaxed or intense as you feel necessary.

[ N] I have a TEFL certification in addition to 12 years of experience in the education sector, lately as an English teacher in a bilingual school in Malaga, Spain and as a private tutoring teacher at an advanced level.
