About Isabel
I have found tutoring and literacy development to be really enjoyable, especially when students develop passion for the subject and feel able to enjoy the material they are presented with without stress. English literature is incredibly important to me; I am currently working on my dissertation and believe the subjects value extends far beyond what is typically taught. Whilst I specialise in literary, philosophical and aesthetic theories, my knowledge of the canon is wide and I enjoy engaging with literature from all reaches of history and genre.

I have experience with early years literacy and comprehension development, 11+ preparation, GCSE and pre-U tutoring. I am very familiar with the processes involved at each stage of education, including university application and Oxbridge preparation. I am deeply passionate about my subject and hope to make the experience of each tutee as enjoyable as it is beneficial, tailoring each lesson to address specific points of concern.
