About Yara
Hello! I'm a dedicated law student with a passion for human rights law. Born to Argentine and Egyptian parents, I bring a rich cultural perspective to my teaching. I spent my formative years in the United Arab Emirates, studying from ages 3 to 18, and later pursued higher education in the Netherlands from 18 to 20.
During my time at the Australian International School in Sharjah, UAE, I excelled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, achieving top marks in IB English Language and Literature. This experience not only honed my analytical and writing skills but also deepened my appreciation for diverse literary works.
With over two years of tutoring experience, I have developed a student-centered approach that focuses on individual learning styles and needs. I believe in creating an engaging and supportive environment where students feel confident to express their thoughts and questions.
Currently, I offer online tutoring sessions for IB English Language and Literature, catering to students in grades 10 through 12. I focus on a student-centered approach, guiding students through the IB English Language and Literature course by breaking down complex concepts and supporting them at every step. My goal is to enhance understanding, build analytical skills, and strengthen writing techniques.
