About Matthew
I am Matthew, a 17 year old top academic student who loves maths and computers. I enjoy teaching others and find it to be very rewarding when they understand a concept or meet a goal, as this inspires students to be more confident in their abilities in maths and computers.

I like to first see where the student is at in their progression and what they are struggling with. I then aim to work with, rather than teach to the student, as I believe that working with the student keeps them happier and more engaged in their learning.
Lessons can be from 30-60 minutes, and are for students doing NCEA Level 2 or below, from when they just started school.
I have done a lot of volunteer tutoring at school, tutoring Year 9 students with arithmetic and algebra.
