A typical lesson begins with a quick check-in and review of previous material. Then, we dive into the day’s focus this might include breaking down a poem, analyzing a novel excerpt, working through grammar and sentence structure, or outlining a persuasive essay. I use a mix of discussion, guided practice, and interactive exercises to keep students engaged and thinking critically.
What sets me apart is that I’m a high-achieving student myself, I’ve taken advanced English courses, written award-winning essays, and know what teachers and AP scorers are looking for.
