About Thea

Hello! I am a session guitarist with experience in live music, touring with artists, recording in studios and musical theatre.

Here’s a bit more about my previous experience: I have played at festivals such as Reading and Leeds, TRNSMT, 2000 Trees and Latitude. Notable venues I’ve performed at include: O2 Academy Brixton and Apollo Manchester. I have also been on tour around Europe. I currently play for several artists and often play in Six The Musical in the West End.

Genres I can teach are: pop, rock, indie, blues, soul, country and R&B and more

I’m very passionate about music and guitar. I’ve been playing for almost 10 years and I haven’t put the instrument down for a single day since. I have studied music in college (ELAM) and university (ICMP).

I’d love to share my knowledge with other people who are interested in learning!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each individual depending on your needs and what you want to learn. We can go through any music theory or even just learn songs you enjoy and want to play. You do not need any previous experience to learn guitar! I can help you get to the level you want.

I am very open to answering any questions you may have and I will always be available to contact outside of lessons.

The first lesson is free and will be 30mins. We will discuss what you would like from these lessons and you can ask any questions you may have.
You might want to learn music theory, guitar fretboard knowledge or just learn a new song you’ve heard and would like to play. Whatever it is you want to do, we can do it together.

After the lesson, I will send a summary video of what we have gone through along with sheets and notes to practice.

I've had the pleasure of performing with Thea from headline slots at major festivals to performing onstage in The West End with the hit musical SIX. Thea is not only an incredible guitarist but a kind and easy going person to work with and has a high level of professionalism.
She has extensive knowledge on the guitar and is versed in many styles. I have no doubt she makes a fantastic educator and gives people the exciting chance to learn directly from a successful session player.
