About Tede

Every musician begins their journey differently, and my goal as a guitar tutor is to guide students through theirs. Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I combine formal training, performance experience, and 12+ years of teaching expertise. Lessons start with essential techniques like posture, finger placement, chord transitions, strumming, rhythm, and tone, gradually moving to improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is introduced practically, showing students how it applies directly to the music they play. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, goals, and style, fostering a supportive and motivating environment. I emphasize both technical mastery and expressive artistry, helping students communicate emotion through their instrument. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance exercises are included to cultivate well-rounded musicianship. I expose students to genres like classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop, broadening their musical skills. Structured practice routines, constructive feedback, and guidance help students overcome challenges while maintaining engagement. Milestones are celebrated to reinforce progress and boost confidence. Creativity, improvisation, and composition are encouraged to help students develop their unique musical voice. Lessons balance discipline, structure, and artistic freedom for an enjoyable learning experience. Over time, students develop technical proficiency, artistic expression, and performance confidence. Teaching guitar is more than instruction—it is mentorship, inspiration, and personal growth. My goal is to help students play authentically, creatively, and with confidence. Every lesson is an opportunity to nurture skill, passion, and lifelong love for music.

Teaching guitar is my passion and my purpose. With advanced degrees in Music and 12+years of experience, I aim to guide students through a meaningful musical journey. I teach all levels, from complete beginners to aspiring professionals. My lessons are rooted in structured learning, but always with creativity at the core. I believe every student deserves a teaching style that adapts to them—not the other way around. My approach blends theory, technique, and artistry, helping students understand not just what to play, but why it sounds the way it does.

I’m known for my patient and encouraging teaching manner, which helps students overcome hesitation and gain confidence. I integrate a variety of genres into my curriculum, from rock and acoustic to classical and jazz. My mission is to help learners unlock their full potential while enjoying the process. Each session is a mix of progress, fun, and discovery. Watching my students grow as musicians and individuals is what inspires me to keep teaching.
