About Libby
Hi,
I'm Libby a recent A level Graduate. I achieved an A* in Geography A level and hope to study Geography next year at university. I am currently taking a gap year. I have previously tutored GCSE and A level students in Geography during my time at school so already have previous experience of what topics students can struggle with. Lessons will be catered to your personal learning style. I like to take a structured approach to tutoring where the students goals for Geography are always in mind. This approach has helped improve students that I have tutored in the past confidence grow and achieve their own goals ! I also will provide advice on exam technique as well as revision ideas.
The first lesson typically involves me assessing a student's ability and the current curriculum they follow as well as assess the teaching technique that will be most beneficial to them.
From then on weekly lessons will build on the learnings of previous weeks to improve the retrieval of content taught. As a recent A level student I feel that I am able to relate more easily to students and be able to empathise with the various stresses they are under!
