About Marco
I am an Energy Engineering student at the University of Bologna.
I earned the IELTS Academic certificate with a score of 8.0 (level C1) and the Cambridge B2 First certificate.
My teaching experience includes both managing groups of students for language development and providing one-on-one private lessons for official certification preparation and academic remediation.
I teach to offer a structured and effective learning experience: I apply an analytical method that simplifies grammar study, focusing on expanding vocabulary and developing oral communication confidence.

My English lessons are aimed at students and adults with different goals: preparation for official certifications (Cambridge FCE B2 and IELTS Academic), vocabulary development, grammar improvement, and fluency in conversation.
Having personally passed the B2 First exam and achieved a score of 8.0 (C1) on the IELTS Academic, I am familiar with exam strategies and official grading rubrics.
The structure of a typical lesson includes:
1. Objective analysis: Definition of the target (IELTS score, passing the FCE, or conversation).
2. Targeted practice: Simulated exam tests (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) or themed conversation sessions.
3. Technical feedback: Correction of grammatical errors, expansion of vocabulary, and improvement of pronunciation.
Finally, as every student's needs are unique, I always clarify expectations, goals, and schedules with the student or their parent/guardian before we begin.
