About Amirah

Hello, my name is Amirah. I prefer to be called "Teacher" because I am here to teach you how to properly use English in your daily conversation. It doesn't have to be formal to speak proper English, and I guarantee that my students will find my class to be fun and interactive. I am here to create a safe space and a fun environment where my students can learn English as a second language comfortably and interactively.

About the lesson

I provide a Wix website for students to use as a reference. I practice my teaching using games and open forums to enhance students' English skills, thinking skills, and structuring sentence skills. Students will be taught new vocabulary every lesson and how to use them in order to instigate proper use of bombastic words in an essay task or assessment.

Teacher Amirah’s class is chill and fun! She uses games, websites, and group talks to help us with English. Teacher focuses on how to build good sentences, learn new words, and improve thinking skills. She makes the class comfy, so we can speak and write in English without feeling shy. Plus, she teaches us cool words we can use in essays, which makes it easier to sound smart. Learning with her doesn’t feel stressful—it’s more like a good time!
