About Hana

I am a high-school graduate from one of the top UK boarding schools, Wycombe Abbey, and completed the A-Levels; Psychology, History and History of Art. Prior to this, I completed the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program in Hong Kong. I am currently a second-year UBC student majoring in Psychology.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are to closely work with each student in achieving their greatest potential in English essay writing and reading.

I can guide and teach students how to plan essays, with a good structure, and help them write them. I also can suggest some edits and give overall feedback on how to improve their work. Together, the student and I can work on any writing assignment they wish to work on.

My main goal as a tutor is for the students to learn and improve their writing/reading skills and apply that to their future assignments. In this, they will be able to get the grades they wish to achieve! :)
