Super tutor

Sean is one of our best Accounting tutors. High-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Sean

Hi! I'm Sean and I'm currently studying medicine in UCD, but I'm originally from Kilkenny. I achieved 7H1's in the 2024 Leaving Cert, including 95% in Leaving Cert Accounting. I'm someone who loved accounting during my time at school and someone who really enjoys helping other people learn.

About the lesson

- I tailor my approach to grinds depending on each student's particular needs and depending on what each student wishes to achieve through grinds.

- Some students wish to structure classes around homework that they are struggling with, others wish to go through course material in the manner of an ordinary school class, others like to focus heavily on going through past paper questions during the grinds.

- Emphasis on exam questions so students can develop exam technique to be prepared for the real exam.

- Available to teach accounting as an additional subject outside of school

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Sean.

Perfect! Seán is an extremely helpful and kind tutor. I’m just finished 5th year and in the past few months since starting weekly grinds with Seán in accountancy and maths (HL) I have much better understanding of both subjects. He is always well prepared and his explanations are really clear. I’m booked in with Seán for 6th year and I know that his weekly grinds be a huge help to me. Conor

Sean is honestly such a great Chemistry tutor. He explains things so well, and somehow even the hardest topics start to make sense. I used to be totally lost, but now I actually get it. My grades have shot up, and I don’t stress as much about exams. 100% recommend!

I would highly recommend Sean as a tutor, he is one of the smartest and kindest people I know, and brilliant at describing complex ideas in simple ways. He is able to adjust his style of tutoring to suit different needs. He was a great help to me during my preparation for the leaving certificate, helping me achieve a H1 in maths. If you are looking for a quality maths tutor I would recommend you to consider Sean. You won't regret it!

Sean is a fantastic French tutor! Being fluent himself, he has a great grasp of the language and explains things in a way that actually makes sense. Whether it’s grammar, pronunciation, or just building confidence in speaking, he knows how to break things down so it feels natural and not overwhelming. He brought me from a H3 to a H1, couldn't recommend him enough.

Sean is a brilliant grinds teacher! He explains things in such a clear and simple way that even the trickiest topics start to make sense. He’s super patient and always makes sure you actually understand instead of just memorizing stuff.

He’s easy to work with and keeps lessons structured without being too rigid. He always comes prepared but is happy to adjust things if needed. It never feels stressful, and he makes even tricky topics feel manageable.
