About Jiahe
I know that many students start biology feeling that it is just a mountain of facts to memorise: endless keywords, unfamiliar processes and diagrams that seem disconnected from each other. My goal is to show students that biology is not about remembering isolated facts — it is about understanding how living systems work. For example, when learning transport systems, we can connect plant vascular bundles with human blood vessels and explore how different organisms solve the same problem in different ways. Once students begin seeing these connections, biology becomes less intimidating and much more enjoyable. I use visual explanations, active recall, exam questions and personalised revision plans to help students build confidence and develop the ability to reason through new problems.

I provide personalised online tutoring for GCSE and iGCSE students in Biology, Chemistry, French, and English as a second language.
My lessons typically last one hour and combine clear explanations, visual examples, active recall questions and exam practice.
I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than memorise facts, connecting ideas across topics and building confidence.
I design tailored homework, quizzes and revision plans based on each student’s weaknesses.
I have tutored four GCSE students, supporting improvements in conceptual understanding, exam technique and organisation, while also creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing challenges and asking questions.
