About Minehli

By addressing academic concerns, delivering progress reports, and developing individualized lesson plans, I have consistently achieved an average one-letter grade improvement and a GPA enhancement of 0.5 points over the years, as validated by report cards. I specialize in English, Reading Comprehension, Literature, Grammar, History, Philosophy, and essay writing. Additionally, I offer tutoring up to Algebra II and geometry for mathematics and up to Biology for sciences. I employ different teaching methods tailored to each student, having identified what works for each type of student over the years. Recognizing the uniqueness of every student and their diverse ways of understanding and learning, my commitment is to foster a supportive and encouraging teaching method for each individual, extending beyond just knowledge – it's about empowering them to be confident learners for life!

About the lesson

As a UCLA graduate with over 6 years of experience providing instruction at tutoring centers, private schools, and one-on-one up to the Junior College level, I am well-equipped to offer comprehensive academic support to students. My journey began as a 17-year-old high school student determined to make a change. I created a specialized reading program for struggling 4th-grade students at my former elementary school while simultaneously conducting research on new teaching methods and the effects of reading on a child's cognitive capabilities and consciousness. Over six months of working one-on-one with students, I applied the researched teaching methods and witnessed a remarkable increase in each child's emotional intelligence, cognitive abilities, and consciousness. This project acted as a catalyst for my passion and love for spreading knowledge, ultimately leading me to my current role as a private tutor, providing all my clients with the gift of knowledge.

I originally hired Minehli to help with my English, as it is not my first language, and I wanted to just achieve basic conversation skills. However, Minehli went above and beyond and allowed me to reach an advanced level of speaking, along with writing essays, biographies, and research articles. She is highly committed to your needs and goals and will make you specialized lessons that match your pace of learning. She immediately understood where I had issues in and doubled down on those areas to help me reach the next level. Amazing tutor, highly recommend!
