About Serena
I have been tutoring for five years to students attending elementary through high school. I have taught over thirty students in both one-to-one and group scenarios in science, math, and programming.
I can teach algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, linear algebra, vector calculus, and statistics, and I can help students with AP Computer Science, Java, C, or C++. I can also tutor for the ACT and SAT math sections. I have received A's and 5's for the classes and AP tests, and also achieved perfect scores on both the ACT and SAT math sections.

Hello! My name is Serena and I am an undergraduate student at UCSD completing my Mathematics and Computer Science BS. I am originally from the Bay Area and I graduated from high school with over a 4.0 GPA and 13 AP classes.
I like to teach based on the material and/or textbooks that the student provides. I vary my teaching method according to the student and the subject to provide the best and most efficient learning experience. I like to keep a good relationship with the student and my goal is to make the lesson more fun and interesting so that the student feels the same way about learning.
