About Emily
Throughout my A-Levels I heavily struggled with my essay writing skills and grasping how to remember the vast amount of scholars and arguments that I needed for my exams. However, once I had spent some time going through my essays and notes with tutors, I excelled and I am now achieving 2:1s and 1s in my university essays. I want to be able to tutor people who, like me, struggle in their A-Levels and need an extra boost of confidence and support that my tutors gave me; because even though it feels like it is an impossible task, you really can achieve the top grades.

I will spend the hour catering to your specific needs, whether that is reading and walking through an essay with one-on-one feedback, doing practice quizzes for general knowledge; or making fact files of scholars to help you learn each scholar and their arguments, as well as teach you tips on how to counter arguments with your own. I am a second year under-graduate student at the University of Southampton, and I studied Philosophy and Ethics as an A-Level. I specialise in A-Level studies but can also cater to GCSE philosophy students.
