About Sean
A quote from a book on girls with ADHD I like goes as follows: "Coaching should be a motivational experience, inspiring the young person to take action; a seismic nudge for the frontal lobe to wake up, sit up and pay attention." I believe this is the approach to take with teaching/tutoring as students, especially the indifferent ones, are prone to giving up without someone pushing them. One of my favorite mentors is Dr. Cox from Scrubs.

As a PASS leader I provided supplementary instruction based on what was taught in class, usually implementing a constructivist approach, that is - working on base skills first (like algebra) before getting into the complicated procedures (like derivatives in calculus). My lessons depend on my students and how they respond to the way I give instruction.
