About Punya
Hi! I'm Punya, a student at NTU studying data science and AI. I have scored IB(42/45) and SAT(1560). I've always loved math, science, and coding, and I've spent time mentoring younger students in robotics, so I know how to explain tricky stuff in a way that actually makes sense. My approach to teaching is Socratic. I typically use probing questions to develop a chain of logical reasoning for the students so the students can understand the concept deeply instead of rote memorization. The typical length of a session will be for an hour extending up to 1.5 hours in case of doubts. I have taught previously at SchoolHouse as a certified math tutor. My lessons are typically for high school students but can be altered to secondary school level math based on demand
