About Ashley
I am a good tutor to have if you want a partner who will work through issues with you. I am a part of a 4+4 accelerated dental program, working my way to hopefully achieving my life-long goal of being a dentist. To get into the program, I've had to achieve specific grades and scores for both my GPA and SAT and ACT standardized tests. Thus, through these experiences I've gained myself, I started to tutor younger kids as well as students of my own age once I've graduated high school. I've taught in private tutor companies in Korea, Hawaii, and California. As of now, I am currently also helping a Junior in high school through zoom. I've taught personally for around 4 years, and it has been a mixture of middle school and high school students. Although I am not a certified tutor or aiming to be a teacher/tutor in the future, I firmly believe I could still help students have a smoother transition throughout their school years using my own experiences.

Whether that may be help with essay writing, editing, creative writing, grammar, SAT/ACT prep, etc. English has always been my strongest subject and my lessons are focused on ensuring my students success when it comes to english lit/lang. The structure of the lessons are flexible and based off what the student needs and what he or she is currently learning.
