About Maha
I have spent the last two years being a tutor for a local nonprofit organization called LaAmistad and the last four years being a peer tutor at my high school. Throughout this experience, I have met many different students, ranging from much younger than me to around my age. Because of this, I have learned how to effectively help students from all different backgrounds, age groups, and learning styles. Thus, I have cultivated an adaptable teaching technique that allows me to assess the needs of each individual and shape my lessons plan to better fit their unique needs.

My lessons are application-based rather than lecture-based. I make sure to intersperse hands-on practice problems with topic summaries and explanations so that students can put into practice what they are being told. I also am a big supporter of exam analysis and going over mistakes on assessments as a method of learning and will incorporate lessons where we can go over quizzes and tests as well to increase understanding.
