About Polina
I am currently an undergraduate student studying Classics and History, and I have an interest in helping students succeed with their Latin, writing, and grammar studies. I would be able to offer academic support as well as valuable advice that would make the learning experience more enjoyable, interesting, and productive.
I have experience helping students with their homework, which may include translation, writing, and grammar; I believe that I would be able to offer productive and encouraging lessons that would make students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

I offer structured tutoring in Latin, writing, and grammar, that will focus on improvement and confidence. Lessons will be tailored to the individual student's needs; these could include reinforcing class work, enhancing the quality of their writing, and preparing for exams.
Sessions will start with a brief review, followed by the lesson targeted for the student, and finally practice and overview. In most cases, I will be able to help students complete their homework, and this will include translations and writing assignments. For the tutoring sessions to be effective, it is important that the student makes a genuine effort on their homework before the tutoring sessions.
The tutoring will be for middle and high school students, and it will also be tailored to suit the individual student's academic goals.
