About Jawaad
Hi,
I’m Jawaad Alibhai, a 3rd year undergraduate student studying Mechanical Engineering at Loughborough University. I’ve just spent the last year on placement at the BMW Mini plant in Oxford.
In terms of my background, I grew up in Uganda in east Africa. I was fortunate to go to an international school where we undertook both the IGCSE’s and IB.
Maths is one of my strongest subjects and I hope to be able to help you to the best of my ability!

I want lessons to be as effective as possible. Will be teaching topics from the syllabus with a specific focus into topics that the student finds difficult.
I have a practical way of teaching and will be encouraging students to follow along tutorials and then answer questions that I can then mark.
I have some mock papers that can be used to evaluate the student’s abilities and weak spots.
Lessons will be 1hr or 2hrs. Lessons for students studying IGCSE maths and A Level/IB maths!
Tutored some IGCSE kids while I was in IB. I also taught my IB maths class a topic that I learned from my tutor. This was because our maths teacher didn’t know how to teach it effectively.
