About Kai Li
I believe that education is one of the greatest levelers everywhere, despite it being a flawed one still, which is why I want to help students achieve their maximum academic potential as a stepping stone to their future endeavors and goals. I also believe in the value of holistically using English to develop all kinds of skill sets- the most important being the ability to think independently and critically in a world where the reliance on AI search tools can become crippling. My relatively young age (I'm 22 this year) makes it easy for students to warm up to me and for me to explain concepts and ideas in a relatable fashion.

I harness a collaborative and discussion-style approach to lessons, whereby I always invite students to share their ideas with me so we can build on them together, be it for oral discussions or essay planning. I also encourage students to submit work weekly which is followed by in-depth and constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement in the mastery of the English language. The typical length of a lesson would be 1.5 hours to ensure sufficient time to work through material without compromising on attention span and energy levels. As a tutor, I have helped students at different levels achieve significant improvement in results by 4 grades in the national exams in less than 6 months. My classes are for all secondary school students.
