About John
After leaving sixth form (where I studied Geography, History and Religious Studies) with three A*s, I pursued Geography, Theological Studies and Classical Studies at St Andrews University.
In regard to Religious Studies, I am enthusiastic and well-informed on Catholic Theology, particularly Early Church Theology (Christology and Trinitarian Theology especially). However, since joining St Andrews, Lutheran and 20th Century Liberal Theology have fascinated me.
Whilst at sixth form, I tutored GCSE Catholic Christianity, Judaism and Mark's Gospel units to several pupils, thus providing me with experience of preparing and conducting an effective tutoring session.

As your tutor, I will provide and explain comprehensive notes on each aspect of the specification, whilst exploring with you different sources of wisdom and theological concepts. I would also have exam technique and essay planning sessions for the A Level students, who I would strongly encourage to produce the essays for me to mark so I can provide detailed feedback on how to fulfil the mark scheme. Closer to exam season, I will provide revision sessions and set exam papers for students
