About Zoe
I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Oregon studying Data Science with a minor in Mathematics. I have always been passionate about math, having tutored math for 6 years and taken classes through calculus 3. I am good at communicating and explaining, and I am patient and empathetic when it comes to learning math. I understand that sometimes students have just had a bad experience with math via poor teachers/teaching styles or bad performance on tests, but math (when you know what you’re doing) is really fun. I hope to (re)kindle my student’s love for math more than anything.

I appreciate the theory of math and WHY we use specific strategies for specific problems. So I will integrate examples of different methods and how an approach to a problem would change if x, y or z changed. The theory also comes from memorizing analysis, not methods. So I will explain my thinking as I approach each problem to present students with a blueprint example of critical mathematical analysis. Questions are always welcomed and encouraged!
