About Nicholas
I am one year out of my 4-years Bachelor's program in Physics, during which time I assisted in acting as a lab assistant in both Physics and Geology courses. I'm an astrophysicist/geophysicist by preference, with an ~3.0 GPA who has had some field experiences in both. I completed my senior-year project in radioastronomy for Physics, and conducted a research paper on meteoric impacts for my Geology courses. I've seen what it's like to struggle in school when you mean to do well, and emerged with a degree to show for my efforts.

I see classwork as preparation to question the inner workings of the world. Education is vital to understanding it, and integrating real-life into teaching is crucial. When somebody is having trouble with a subject, sometimes it can be because it is too abstract, not grounded enough in the real world. That was my problem in college, so I seek to help people ground their lessons in reality and start from there!
