Marissa and I met my sophomore year of high school. I was struggling tremendously in geometry and ended up failing my first semester. Once second semester started I realized I needed extra help and met Marissa. She was extremely constructive and was able to explain the material to me in a way where I could understand. Additionally she is super kind and funny, making tutoring feel more comfortable and less intimidating. I ended my second semester with a B+ and was able to pass the class for the year!
