I am a first year undergraduate and I give one to one tutoring. I approach each topic by first doing a brief overview and then ask my tutee questions of what we have gone over then we will go over the areas that my tutee struggled to answer the questions for in more detail. At the start and the end of each session I will ask a few questions on the content that we have gone over in that session of the session before as a way of recapping and as an indicator on what topics my tutee is confident on and the areas that we would need to go over.
I am a first year geography student at Edinburgh University I am also doing all the first year course for a maths degree so I am competent in teaching up to a level maths.
