About Ahmed Farhan

Hi, I am Ahmed Farhan Labib, a third year undergraduate student at the University of Melbourne. I have been to Japan for 5 years and completed 4 advanced Japanese courses at my university.

Japan is a fascinating country with its own unique history, culture and language that has captivated people across the globe. I want to teach Japanese and its culture that I learnt during my stay and in the university to share the intriguing characters of Japan.

If you have the curiosity and interest in learning the language, then you have everything you need to start the lesson. Whether it's for your school lesson or you just want to learn casually, here I am going to give you lesson so you can understand the language at your own pace.

About the lesson

For beginners:

Lesson consists of first practicing the Japanese alphabet and learning few simple Japanese sentences to introduce oneself in Japanese.

The lesson then continues in understanding the grammar in Japanese language and reading and translating simple Japanese texts.

For Intermediate and Advanced students:

Lesson will consist of solving a open-ended comprehension problems that involve reading a given text, answering the question based on the text, and translation of few sentences of the text.

The lesson also consists of learning and practicing few new Kanjis that is often required in normal Japanese communications.

The style of the lesson can be customized as per the requirement of each individual student. If the student is learning for school curriculum, the lesson can be tailored as per the syllabus of the curriculum.

Length of Lessons:

1 to 2 hour lesson for once or twice a week although it can be negotiated.

Qualification and experience:

1. Been to Japan for 5 years and scored 85 in CRT examination on Japanese language during the stay.

2. Completed 4 advanced Japanese courses at the University of Melbourne securing First-class Honors in 3 of them.

3. Previously taught lessons to year 11 and 12 students for 3 months.

Students for all level of understanding in Japanese language (from beginner to advanced level) is welcome. Whether you are learning for school curriculum or for casual, you are welcome for the lessons.
